This fee is to secure our attorney's time to meet with you to understand your matter. Although your initial meeting may not last a full hour or two, the fee covers the time the attorney dedicates to this meeting and preparing for it. This fee may be waived if you're referred by a professional partner (such as a financial advisor or healthcare provider) or if you attended one of our educational seminars. If you decide to retain us after the consultation, the fee will be applied toward your retainer.
