Marcia Futterman Brodie, founder of Marcia Trains, LLC, is a certified dementia caregiver, educator, and specialist trained by Teepa Snow, the founder of Positive Approach to Care, with deep expertise in teaching caregivers and care partners how to engage with individuals who are living with cognitive impairment, including dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Marcia is certified to train both professional caregivers and family members in best practices for compassionate, skill-based care. Her approach emphasizes the abilities that remain rather than those that are lost, helping to foster more meaningful and positive experiences for both caregivers and those they support.

Marcia has worked extensively with families, senior memory centers, and hospice organizations, guiding them through the emotional and practical challenges of cognitive decline. Her work is grounded in empathy, education, and empowerment. She equips caregivers with the tools they need to navigate complex care situations with confidence and compassion.

In addition to her caregiving expertise, Marcia brings over 30 years of experience in marketing, sales, and professional development. She has served as a marketing director, sales account executive, and trainer, and spent more than a decade as Director of Marketing at a senior living community in Hampton Roads. She also leads workshops on public speaking, networking, and interviewing skills, helping participants build confidence and clarity in their communication.

Marcia’s collaboration with the attorneys at Hook Law represents a unique and powerful partnership that blends compassionate care guidance with trusted legal counsel. Together, they offer clients a truly holistic experience by addressing not only the legal and financial complexities of aging and cognitive decline but also the emotional and practical realities families face every day. This integrated approach ensures that clients receive comprehensive support that is legal, personal, and human at every stage of their journey.
